The Oasis of Love Inc. is a person-centered and family-oriented environment. The organization was established in August 2006 and is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. As a non-profit charitable organization, the Oasis strives to reach out and service the needs of many in the community.
Our Philosophy
Oftentimes, individuals in need of services get referred to different agencies and programs. However, finances and other factors are overseen in the process. Additionally, other needs remain unforeseen and unaddressed. As an area of need is addressed, another one is neglected because the person in need of service(s) does not have all the resources needed to meet different agencies' expectations or demands and subsequently, meet their own needs.
At the Oasis, we strive to make things simple. We believe an individual is not solely a physical rational being, but also a social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual being. As such, individuals present different needs and need equilibrium and balance to function healthily at each of these levels in their community and personal lives. As whole integrated beings, individuals have the capacity to change and recover from a situation of crisis and distress. However, support is also needed to achieve integration and balance.
While our program is change and success-oriented, the individual or family's full participation and investment in their lives is essential to achieving desired goals. The latter is particularly important to living an integrated life and possibly overcoming a situation of crisis or distress.

"Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress,
and working together is success."
- Henry Ford
A holistic approach to living...
...is based on the principles of wholeness and balance. Wholeness and balance can be described as experiencing inner strength and peace in important areas that are necessary for overall healthy functioning.
Our model recognizes people as physical and spiritual beings, and integrates the actions of mind, body and spirit in everyday situations. Some people may be highly-influenced and motivated by their intellect and, therefore, make decisions based on rational thinking. Others may be motivated by feelings and emotions, as well as spiritual beliefs and thus follow their hearts or seek spiritual guidance in making decisions and moving forward.
