We do not provide any type of legal advice. Situations requiring legal or any other type of advice will be referred to the appropriate professional.

We do not prescribe or provide medication management. While we collaborate with medical providers, the client is the one responsible for communicating with the prescribing doctor.

We do not provide services without the client's consent. Services provided are, therefore, agreed upon by the client. We do not impose any values, ideas or beliefs on the client. The client is his/her own agent and the one solely responsible for treatment outcome.

We do not coerce the client into accepting recommended services. We respect the client's free-will and decision to decline a recommended service.

We strive to provide a safe and professional environment. We do not tolerate acts of malice, violence and abuse against the organization or staff. We may pursue legal action and prosecute for fraudulent acts committed against the organization and staff.

We act in the capacity in which we are qualified, trained, licensed, and/or certified to provide services. We are mandated reporters and, therefore, required by law to report to law enforcement and state child protective agencies any incidents of abuse and neglect to children and the elderly, and any threats of suicide or homicide against self or another person(s). As mandated reporters, we have immunity against liability for reports made to the police and child protective agencies.

Psychological Services
What is psychotherapy and how will it help me?
Psychotherapy is the process of talking with a trained therapist about feelings, thoughts, and events in the present and the past.  Through the relationship with the therapist, old and new interpersonal issues can be explored and worked on, and new behaviors and ways of being in the world achieved.
Professional Disclaimer
Health is reached through talking about feelings, rather than acting on them. The therapist is silent for periods of time to allow you to associate from one idea to another, and explore the feelings that come up. The therapist will help this process by pointing out patterns, making connections, asking questions, and making interpretations.
